Jon Rahm smashes 426-yard drive at WGC-Dell Match Play Championship

Mickelson, Casey reach last 16 at WGC Match Play

Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson eased into the quarterfinals of the Dell Technologies Match Play with a fourth consecutive round in which neither trailed.

Rahm's star continues to rise at such a pace that, on Saturday, bookmakers slashed his odds to win the Masters in a fortnight's time.

The 22-year-old subsequently hammered Garcia 6&4, reaching the Round of 16 at WGC-Match Play.

The 22-year-old, who was the world's top ranked amateur while studying at Arizona State University, is now 25th in the world after winning his first PGA Tour title in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in January.

Rahm made quick work of the other quarter-final, giving Dane Soren Kjeldsen a 7&5 shellacking.

Boko Haram: Troops kill terrorists at Borno College of Business
There was claim that the army was informed of the imminent attack but nothing was done about it. He said troops were in pursuit of the attackers, most of whom had escaped with gunshot wounds.

"It's a long way to go. Not the same stage or pressure, but I've done it before", Rahm said. "Obviously, representing Spain, we want as many Spaniards to make it as far as possible", Rahm said.

"No matter what ranking I am, I feel I should win", he told reporters. My mindset is winning.

We've all been there, lining up the flawless tee shot, practice swing looking good, visualising the ball landing in the middle of the fairway...only to see the ball veer off into the water or the bushes or roll two feet away from the tee. Not only this afternoon, but I look at the whole day. "I missed one single shot, and it was the second shot on (the ninth hole)".

"I've done it a few times". "We would still be saying that I was just average in this event if I hadn't made that chip". I'm extremely proud of how I played. "He's got that thing about him that's going to make him a big-time victor out here, and hopefully I can hang with him".

Garcia, who is widely regarded as one of the best golfers around, let go of his club on his follow-through and watched dumbstruck as the ball bounced off into the water. He has that flawless volume of confidence which, if it regresses into arrogance, does not have a negative impact on his demeanour. For all fortunes in this sport can alter on the bounce of a ball, it seems at best highly unlikely and at worst impossible that Rahm will not form part of Thomas Bjorn's contingent in France next year. "I'm really happy", he said. "And it was a really emotional win for me, just because he's been such a great idol and role model for me to follow". Maybe top eight would get me in. His blistering play earned him a spot in the semifinals against Bill Haas.

US Authorizes Construction of Pipeline Keystone XL
The State Department estimated that construction of Keystone XL would contribute $3.4 billion to the nation's output. But in January he had leavened his optimism with some doubts because of uncertainty about demand from oil producers.

Mickelson will play Marc Leishman in the last 16. That result was something of a shock, Mickelson having breezed through earlier rounds.

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson notched one of those eagles.

He said he fancied his chances of beating namesake and compatriot Zach, not because of the world rankings but because of his form. A six-foot birdie at 13 put Tanihara 5-up and he halved Fisher three holes later to end matters. Johnson rallied over the closing stretch, with Noren due credit for his performance given it was produced while carrying a wrist injury.

Johnson, going after a third straight PGA Tour title, faces one of this tournament's biggest surprises in Hideko Tanihara of Japan.
