Sherman trade talk is 'real' on 'both sides — Seahawks GM

Sherman has been a cornerstone of the sustained success the Seahawks have created in recent years, and he's still playing at a pretty high level, though there have been some slight signs of decline. There are many doors that have been opened. The Boston Herald, citing a source, says there is a chance Sherman lands with the Patriots if their star corner, Malcolm Butler, leaves via free agency or a trade. There could be some truth behind them.

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider confirmed Wednesday that the team is in fact speaking with teams on trading cornerback Richard Sherman.

Schneider's opinion about the Richard Sherman discussion being "real" came in the context of a question regarding the team's relationship with him after his tumultuous 2016 National Football League season.

GOP state senator: Why I'm fighting for equal pay
Kentucky ranked 16 out of 50 states and the District of Columbia in the pay disparity between men and women, the study said . According to the Daily Beast , the top ten most remunerative majors (except pharmaceutical scientists) are dominated by men.

"What you've seen lately in the news is real", Schneider told radio station 710 ESPN Seattle, via Sheil Kapadia. "But at least we've opened that door, gone down the road and seen what's behind Door A or Door B".

Schneider said it all began February during the combine in Indianapolis. It is not something that was done behind Sherman's back either.

"Absolutely! This isn't a secret like this just came out of nowhere". If the Seahawks think they can land a cheaper version of the next Richard Sherman now, why keep the real Richard Sherman, especially when they might be able to flip him for the chip that might help them land his replacement? It is not a new issue either. Players and coaches will be bombarded with Sherman trade talks now and throughout all of next season. But for Sherman in particular, that's meant a couple of incidents he may regret, including late last season when he screamed at offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell on the sidelines of a game against the Los Angeles Rams and had to be pulled away by defensive coordinator Kris Richard. When it comes to performance has had not had any issues.

USA auto sales fall 1.6% in March as industry cools
General Motors sales climbed 1.6 percent, a smaller gain than analysts projected, while Honda reported a surprise drop. Sales of sport-utility vehicles, crossovers and pickup trucks increased 5.5% to 117,521, reflecting a record March.

As we get closer to the NFL Draft, there have been a good amount of New England Patriots rumors.

The one hole on Seattle's defense is the corner opposite Sherman. And like I said, that doesn't happen everywhere. It does seem like he's well-liked in the locker room and it's unfair to suggest Sherman has any 'character concerns, ' but we do know that Chris Ballard is extremely cautious about what messages he sends to players and what type of guys he brings in to the locker room. The trade talk may be no more than just talk.

Sherman has two years remaining on his contract. He is guaranteed just over $11 million for his 2017 season. The Colts have the cap space to be able to do that without much trouble, but adding Sherman would have that impact. While Sherman isn't really super old (he's 29 years old), there are some things that must be thought through.
