The affected stores represent about 13 percent of the company's 1,014 stores, but the stores represent less than 5.0 percent of total sales. J.C. Penny will also close two distribution centers, in Lakeland, Fla. Net income climbed to $192 million, or 61 cents per share, from a loss of $131 million, or 43 cents per share, a year earlier. The launches are the first time since 2015 that rockets have been fired at Israel from Egypt. No one was injured and no damage was caused by the missiles, the army said. However, similar claims were made by Hamas after rockets were fired towards Israel's Eilat earlier this month. The IS has been in a vicious conflict with the Egyptian military in the Sinai for years. Any measure above 50 indicates an expansion in activity in the manufacturing sector. The report also indicated decline in employment levels in both the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors.
